Next Koi Auction SUNDAY 5TH SEPTEMBER 2011 11:00 Bidding at 12:00
Koi Auctions take place throughout the main season. To receive regular updates via email please be sure to register on the mailing list – use the panel on the right.
Auctions are always entertaining and with Bernard as the auctioneer you are guaranteed to snatch up a bargain. All koi passing through the auction are stock fish.
A typical auction day means a very early start for all the staff, so that all fish can be carefully checked, netted and bagged. By around 11.00 am all the fish will be on view, so the best advice is to arrive early so that you can take your time to examine all the lots and make note of any fish you maybe interested in purchasing.
The auction starts at 12.00 with Bernard as the Auctioneer. The smaller fish are sold first, leading to the medium size followed by the larger and better fish. There are normally around 100+ lots to bid on. To join the bidding you need only pick up a bidders card from Wendy on the desk. The bidding takes approx two hours with an interval half way through - refreshments are available throughout the day at the Terrace café.
